We’re very proud to be holding our Life Sciences Investment Summit with Startup TNT again this year!
The Life Sciences Investment Summit is a unique platform created in partnership between Applied Pharmaceutical Innovation and Startup TNT to empower innovative ideas, invest in life sciences discoveries and build a community of start-ups and investors.
Life science start-ups from Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba are invited to apply for this year’s event. This summit will provide an opportunity to receive seed funding for startups, and to network with investors and representatives from the start-up and the life sciences ecosystem. The summit also offers hands-on training for investors interested in life sciences through a team-based due diligence process.
This is a great opportunity for start-ups to gain funding. The Investment Summits have raised over $8 million for 60 companies, and being a part of this event will open doors that might otherwise be closed or even unknown to start-ups and innovators.
Our goal this year is to raise hundreds of thousands of dollars for life sciences start-ups across and to create a syndicate of qualified angel investors who will help build up those startups. The top 20 companies get to meet the investors, the top 10 will be invited to participate in an 8-week due diligence process, and the top five will pitch at the finale. The winner gets $200K, and investments are expected for other companies who participate.
Applications are now live and we invite life sciences companies that are considering raising money in 2023 to check out the eligibility requirements and apply.
Applications close on January 24. The Top 20 Pitch Night will be on January 31 and the Summit Finale will be on March 23.
