Women in STEM Week

Last week was Women in STEM Week, an excellent opportunity to reflect on how you and your organization are creating inclusive spaces, and to celebrate the achievements of women working in STEM.

We are proud to have an inclusive and diverse workplace at API, and want to thank our team members who identify as women for sharing their talent and expertise with us. We are grateful to have a robust female-identifying team that enriches the life sciences ecosystem.

Paramita Chaudhuri Basu Headshot 1

During this year’s Women in STEM week, we wanted to highlight one of our new female-identifying team members!

Paramita Chaudhuri Basu, our Director of Programs & Ecosystem Development, is a life sciences enthusiast who is passionate about entrepreneurship and innovation. She brings a strong background and expertise in life sciences, biotechnology, startups, and healthtech, and is a trained facilitator, mentor and coach. Check out her recent Q&A here.

“Just like entrepreneurs need a support system to grow and thrive, all women in STEM need a support network that allows them to do the same. Success in STEM, success in business, and generally success in life is built on a foundation of knowing yourself and giving your best self with confidence and fearlessness. We all have a role to play in amplifying and championing women in STEM.”
