API Stories
Showcasing Alberta at Canada’s premier Natural Products Expo
As a proud member of the Canadian Health Food Association, API was among thousands of industry professionals from across Canada at the CHFA NOW Trade Show and Conference in Vancouver from April 3 to 5.
Femi Morakinyo, Regulatory Affairs Specialist, Marina Barbu, Programs Manager, and Siddharta Biswas, Senior Scientist, represented API by showcasing Alberta’s life sciences ecosystem and the services we offer to support NHP innovators. Our team also had an incredible time exploring cutting-edge brands, gaining valuable insights, and forging new connections with innovators and service providers from the NHP industry.
Here’s a glimpse at some of the events and activities that our team participated in:
- Femi attended the CHFA Regulatory Forum, which focused on the US regulatory model for Natural Health Products, and witnessed a presentation on Enhancing NHP GMP Compliance, which dove deep into the various aspects of good manufacturing practices within the natural health products industry.
- The team showcased API and connected with many retailers, suppliers, and other service providers of natural health products at the CHFA Trade Show.
