This year, our goal is to raise over $400k in capital for life sciences startups across Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba. The Life Sciences Investment Summit will provide an opportunity for startups to receive seed funding and to network with investors and representatives from the life sciences ecosystem.

The Process

apply and are evaluated by investors with a process designed and facilitated by Startup TNT

20 – 40 Investors
pre-commit $5,000 to invest in summit winners

10+ Companies
undergo due diligence and participate in the Top 10 Pitch Night

5 Finalists
negotiate deal terms and get to pitch at the Life Sciences Summit Finale
Fundraising Goal

Expected investment into the winner is $200K-$500K+
-
$150K+ from the individual angels and $50K from the VC fund, syndicated together as one cheque
-
$25K-$150K+ side deals into additional companies
-
Additional side deals negotiated at the Summit Finale with non-winners range from $25k to $350k
