The Canadian Chamber of Commerce recently hosted a session on ‘the Path to Pandemic-Proof: What the Health and Life Sciences Ecosystem Needs Today.‘ As part of this event, Andrew MacIsaac, CEO, API participated as a panelist for the panel 2 discussion on: Positioning Life Sciences as an Economic Growth Vector.

The pandemic exposed the fragility of our healthcare systems and demonstrated the central role that the life sciences sector plays in our health and economic well-being. It also revealed the importance of building resilience driven by better adoption of health innovations. This Executive Summit will examine the barriers to creating a whole ecosystem approach for the life sciences industry and will consider the ways our economy can become pandemic-proof in future.
