Module: Week 1

Creating an Impactful Clinical Research Program

Presented by Alberta Clinical Research Consortium

Building an end-user mindset into your product development process is critical to its success. Whether you target patients, physicians, or healthcare authorities as your delivery partners, fully understanding the problem you are solving for consumers will make your product more commercially attractive and easy to achieve pre-seed investment.

In this session, participants will be encouraged to look through their product/innovation through a patient or end-user lens to identify what kind of clinical validation and feedback is necessary to take their innovations to market. Through a guided self-assessment, participants can use this ideology to map out their clinical research pathways and identify major gaps that may impede their pathway to market.

Module: Week 2

From Design to Action: Considerations when conducting Clinical Research

Presented by Alberta Clinical Research Consortium

Embarking on a clinical research program isn’t for the faint of heart but is necessary to bring a product to market and gain early investment.

Session two of the Research to Revenue program will walk participants through the nitty gritty of running clinical trials and clinical validation programs covering critical issues such as good clinical practice, quality management, and patient recruitment.

Module: Week 3
