How the Process Works
3 provinces. 1 Guaranteed winner. Side Deals Expected
30+ Companies
apply and are evaluated by the investors with a process designed and facilitated by Startup TNT
20-30 Investors
pre-commit $5,000 each for the winner and conduct team based due diligence over an 8 week period
20 Companies
undergo due diligence and participate in the Top 20 Pitch Night (virtual) on February 9th
5 Finalists
negotiate deal terms and get to pitch at the Life Sciences Summit Finale in Calgary on March 23rd
Fundraising Goal
Expected investment into the winner is $200k-$500k
- $150k+ from the individual angels and $50k from the VC fund, syndicated together as one cheque
- $25K-$250K side deals into additional companies!
